In the Middle

I’ve seen a plethora of New Year’s goals, optimistic sentiments, and good riddance to last year posts circulating. And don’t get me wrong, I have a few goals of my own both physical and spiritual. All Life is Transition

The wind is roaring tonight. The blustery winds are rattling the poorly installed windows of our rental. Nonetheless, we are cozy inside (minus a warm fire because I am pretty sure the fireplace isn’t safe). Flaws of our rental aside, I am thankful to be in a warm home and not out on the streets on a night like this. Something about tonight lends itself to be a night of reflection.
